Ellie 16mm-scale Tram Locomotive
A group of more than 20 of our members have been building versions of "Ellie".  This locomotive, for the Garden Railway, was designed in Australia and is intended to be a relatively simple model to build.  A few members have completed their models whilst others are at various stages of construction.  One of our members shares a little of his experience:-

The photos show ‘Ellie’ together with the matching tramcar which I have built. There is still some work to do to control the rate of flow from the lubricator; currently it feeds rather too much oil. The loco gets very hot!
