The Track
When AFC Bournemouth built their new football stadium over a large part of the Society's Kings Park track, Bournemouth Borough Council offered a new site for a raised track in their flagship park at Littledown. The new site is mainly among trees and is basically long and thin. Members were asked to give their ideas of what sort of track they would like within the confines of what the Council would allow. The final shape was a dog bone with two long, almost parallel, straights joined at each end by circles of track with a radius of 17m.

The 'Miniature Railway' track is located in the Littledown Park, Chaseside, Castle Lane East, Bournemouth.
Three hours' free parking is available at the BH Live Active Leisure Centre car park. For longer stays, see the car park signage. The track is a couple of minutes' walk from the car park. Take the path between the main Littledown Centre Building and the Football Pitches. The Railway will be found towards the end of this path, where it meets the grounds of JP Morgan.
